Just some of the comments received following our February launch edition. Very encouraging, but also a challenge to maintain high standards.

In this edition we have expanded our format somewhat to include Resources Matters and International Matters. I would like to welcome Dr Barbara Newland as Resources Editor and Linda Wareck and Dr Daniel Tan as International Editors.

BbMatters is based on a subscription model (free) to ensure that we provide content which is timely and relevant. So, please invite your colleagues to subscribe and let us know what you think. In addition, please consider submitting a contribution so that BbMatters truly reflects the diversity of the Blackboard user community.

Finally, a word about this edition. At this time of year many of you will be thinking ahead and planning for the start of the new academic year. We have tried to bear this in mind in the choice of contributions. But if there are specific topics you would like us to feature in June’s edition
please let us know.
